David Miliband Visits Changeworks
Changeworks Chief Executive, Simon Lee, said: “Changeworks was delighted to receive a visit from David Miliband, who came to find out more about the organisation. It was a great opportunity to discuss the practical solutions Changeworks has pioneered to deliver sustainable development and challenge climate change.”
The Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs was joined by Mark Lazarowicz MP and met with Changeworks’ Head of Energy Laura McGadie and Hugh Muschamp and Ohad Shachar from the Local Energy Support Team. The Minister also viewed Changeworks’ recycling facilities.
Significantly, the day coincided with the release of the Fourth Assessment Report by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change.
