Food Waste Education Resources Launched
Changeworks has launched Finish Your Food, an exciting and innovative project to help Scottish schools and communities reduce food waste.
The Finish Your Food project is a proven way to reduce food waste in schools and raise awareness in households.
The whole school community is engaged in food waste reduction with the help of the character Mr Silly Sausage, an interactive assembly, a food waste audit and a family challenge.
The resources are available to all local authorities through the Scottish Waste Education Support Programme (SWESP). A high-quality training programme on effectively engaging young people, teachers and parents through the project comes as part of the package.
