Moray Capital Project: What measures can I have installed?

The Moray Capital Project includes several different energy efficiency upgrades.  A contractor from Sureserve Energy Services will carry out a technical survey of your home to work out which upgrades are most suitable.

External wall insulation is like putting a jumper on your home. A layer of insulation material is fixed to the outer walls, and then covered with render or cladding.

Most homes built after 1920 have cavity walls. This means there are two layers of wall – the outer and the inner – with a gap between them called the cavity.

Loft insulation

Uninsulated homes lose a quarter of their heat through the roof. With loft insulation, you can keep your home warm and reduce your energy bills.
