Changeworks is engaged by local authorities throughout Scotland to deliver energy efficiency measures at scale across a range of tenures.
Since 2013 we’ve worked alongside the City of Edinburgh Council to deliver dozens of Home Energy Efficiency Programmes for Scotland (HEEPS) and Energy Efficient Scotland: Area Based Schemes projects. During that time, we’ve improved the energy efficiency of thousands of homes across Scotland’s capital with a wide range of decarbonisation measures – from solid wall insulation to solar panels.
Our recent partnership with Rural Stirling Housing Association (RSHA) enabled the decarbonisation of 40 social housing properties.
Accessing funding from the Scottish Government’s Low Carbon Infrastructure Transition Programme, we project-managed the install of air source heat pumps, solar panels, and battery storage, bringing low-carbon energy to RSHA’s tenants in Aberfoyle.
