Changeworks is delighted to have been appointed to a new decarbonisation framework that will support a range of organisations to deliver energy efficiency and decarbonisation services across the public sector
The new Retrofit and Decarbonisation (N9) framework, administered by the Scottish Procurement Alliance, is designed to support local authorities, housing associations, education and other public sector bodies to access a range of resources and specialist services essential to decarbonisation and meeting the challenge of net zero
Supported by our partners at BE-ST, we will work together to provide multi-disciplinary domestic strategic retrofit and delivery services, supporting our partners to unlock available funding and develop long term, practical and achievable net zero delivery plans.
The framework provides organisations access to high-quality dedicated retrofit services and will support the sector to develop and implement future-proofed solutions designed to meet the needs of the market. It has been developed to support grant funding opportunities, best practice, collaboration, to drive high standards of work and to promote ‘fabric first’ approach to retrofit.
Roddy Hamilton, Changeworks’ Head of Business Development said: “By working with partners across Scotland as part of the framework, we can leverage our decades of experience to maximise opportunities to support and accelerate retrofit in Scotland.
“We welcome the framework and a simplified route for organisations to access specialist services that will help them to decarbonise. Working in collaboration with a trusted body like this will allow Changeworks to deliver more services with bigger impact, allowing us to support more households across Scotland to become more energy efficient and lower their energy bills.”
